The grip went through rigorous tests over more than a decade operation with 1200 Kgs. payload on 300 grips operating simultaneously at 16 secs. spacing. Some cosmetic touches after the decade long tests, made it ideally safe and suitable for application on Gondolas, and other passenger ropeway installations eversince. It is in use to haul up 10 passengers under steepest gradient.

The system can achive a capacity upto 2500PPH. It has inherent flexibility to adapt length and terrain conditions.

The system have all the safety device at stations and line, which ensure positive attachment of grips with the hauling rope, and safe passage of cabins along the line.
